Farmington's First Grist Mill

The first mill was located on Temple Stream at the location of what is now known as Walton's Mill. The grist mill allowed the first crops of wheat and corn to be milled into flour, which greatly increased the kinds of food the settlers ate, as well as allowed them to store the flour for later use.
